Scott Cannon

Senior Graphic Designer

Scott joined the Avalon Design team in 2021 as a graphic designer to expand Avalon’s in-house creative capacity.

Scott brings a ton of experience from across the nonprofit sector, both through his freelance design work and as art director of JAM Communications. He has partnered with Avalon on several MAXI award-winning campaigns, and has specialized in print and digital designs for nonprofit organizations, including the Smithsonian, The Kennedy Center, Americares, The Wilderness Society, League of Women Voters, and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

A graduate of the Corcoran School of Art + Design, Scott brings his design talents and history of working with nonprofits to the team.

When he’s not creating marketing material, Scott spends his time renovating houses and watching/coaching his two sons’ soccer and baseball teams.

Scott is wearing a gray polo with white undershirt and his sandy blond hair and beard are trimmed. He's standing in front of two columns and the sky in the background is light and clear.
