Amirah joined Avalon in the spring of 2020, with seven years of experience in direct marketing, campaign strategy implementation, nonprofit development, project and database management, and member relations. She honed these skills in her previous position as account manager at Mal Warwick Donor Digital, and on the client side in the development department at National Women’s Health Network.
At Avalon, Amirah focuses her expertise on the digital channel of clients’ multi-channel marketing campaigns—helping to coordinate all the moving parts that make up digital fundraising for a full donor experience, including fundraising, content strategy, development for social media platforms, and client websites. Her attention to detail, from conception to final product to post-campaign analysis, ensures that the successful campaigns she works on seamlessly dovetail with other client outreach strategies.
Outside of work, Amirah likes to spend time with her two children, enjoys nature walks, concerts, film, cooking, and learning fun, new, and interesting things!
