Farm Sanctuary’s Watkins Glen, NY, shelter is welcoming a new resident, thanks to comedian Jon Stewart and his best-selling author wife, Tracey. A bull named Frank escaped while being transported to a slaughterhouse and was spotted on the York College campus in Queens. After the NYPD tranquilized and captured Frank, Farm Sanctuary negotiated his release from a holding facility in Brooklyn. Knowing Jon and Tracey Stewart’s commitment to Farm Sanctuary, the organization called to see if they would pick Frank up and keep him at their farm in New Jersey before taking him to his forever home at Farm Sanctuary. Watch a brief video of Frank on the loose in the big city at Huffington Post.
