Whether she’s crafting an email or working on a website, Désirée designs content that speaks to the heart. As Avalon’s Digital Design Director, Désirée is the bridge between the design and the implementation of that design. On any given day, she’s collaborating with digital project managers and designers to create and implement visuals that move online audiences to action.
Before lending her considerable talents to Avalon, Désirée was the Senior Designer at Do Big Things where she led digital design initiatives, mentored designers, delighted clients with data-informed designs, and kept a pulse on emerging trends in the digital ad space. Her degree in fine arts and her years of experience in online communication means you can trust Désirée to know what will work—and what won’t—when it comes to winning digital designs.
Désirée is based in Mobile, Alabama where she lives with her two cats, Shishi and Zak. In her free time, you can probably find her doing a craft! Candle-making, knitting, weaving, woodworking, foraging, metalsmithing—if you can name it, there’s a good chance Désirée’s tried it.
