ABOUT AVALON CONSULTING
Jamie came to Avalon in March 2017 from The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, a Middle East think tank, where she served as a development assistant.
Jamie’s interest in the nonprofit sector began at James Madison University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work with a concentration in nonprofit management. Following graduation, Jamie interned in Tel Aviv, Israel, at Marom Group, an international social investment house that specializes in offering tailored, full-service, philanthropic solutions to individuals, foundations, corporations, and governments. It is there that Jamie honed her deep understanding of nonprofit and public service development.
Jamie’s extensive background in fundraising serves her clients well, as she helps to craft and produce winning multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
Out of the office, Jamie has traveled extensively (including Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam) and intends to explore the world more. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and playing tennis.
